About us

Gemma Ireland (MAR) founded Bodyflow with Rachel Whiteside (LSSMDip) in 2001. They originally set Bodyflow up as a corporate chair massage business. In 2003 Rachel left the UK to set up Bodyflow in Zurich, a clinic that offers a range of massages and cranio sacral therapy.

Whilst providing chair massage for corporate clients still remains a core part of the business, in 2003 Gemma launched health and well-being services for private clients. This side of the business has grown quickly and now supplies a professional team of therapists, practitioners and teachers to the comfort and ease of people's own homes.

Gemma's expertise and confidentiality has earned her an extensive client list that ranges from A-list celebrities and supermodels to exhausted city workers and housewives.

Gemma qualified as a reflexologist at the Self Centre in Harley Street in 1999 and now specialises in fertility, maternity and labour. She helps couples balance their systems to aid their fertility and one of her specialities is to prime labour (natural induction) by using reflexology. Gemma has had an enormous amount of success helping couples with their fertility as well as taking them all the way through pregnancy. She was also a birth doula and acupressure therapist.

Gemma and her team have also had remarkable results with the following problems: asthma & sinusitis, structural problems, chronic fatigue, depression, digestive problems, blood pressure, lymphatic drainage, menstrual/menopausal problems, migraines and headaches, panic attacks and anxiety, priming labour (induction), post natal, skin disorders, sports injuries, stress and insomnia.
